Under the leadership of master cheesemaker, William Wyssmüller, Les Fondues Wyssmüller® SA is bolstering its activities by investing in this gathering spot, known far and wide for over thirty years now.

A story

Better known under the name of its creator – a well-known herdsman and dairyman named “Boudji” – the Gîte d'Avau on the heights of Broc is a must for enjoying deeply convivial moments.

A world of senses

A magical environment, a chalet teeming with wood and an alpine atmosphere, typical smells wafting through the dining room and terrace alike: it’s a place to sit, admire, and enjoy the sweet magic radiating from this place so conducive to getting together and chatting.

  • Bravo pour la réno et la déco et tout le boulot! Nous avons super bien mangé. Les portions sont très généreuses. Je vous conseil de réserver avant d’y aller. Le temps d’attente peut-être long car une croûte au champignons et des macaronis de chalet ne se font pas en 5 min:-) service impeccable et cordial. Allez-y! Grimpez dans le bon goût!

  • Le cadre est vraiment magnifique aussi bien en terrasse qu'à l'intérieur ! Le service est impeccable et les plats sont très bons ! N'hésitez pas à essayer les fondues, elles sont incroyables ! 🇨🇭🧀

A magical place

After a decade in which couple Alexandra and Yves Jaquet continued what their predecessors had already done with great joy, Les Fondues Wyssmüller® have moved in to “Chez Boudji”, honouring a tradition of hospitality.

Master cheesemaker for over twenty-five years, manufacturer, and then retailer, it is as a passionate man that William Wyssmüller creates and develops a new vision around fondue in Switzerland.

The Les Fondues Wyssmüller® brand creates a gastronomic world around flavours. For a company that has long had the ambition of presenting and sharing its products from pasture to plate, “Chez Boudji” was a natural step. And now that it’s done, the flavour and friendship party can start!

Chez Boudji Alpine Tavern is delighted to host the 2nd edition of its Tavolata, organized in collaboration with the Chai du Baron winery.

Tavolata chez Boudji, in the heart of Gruyère, is an event that brings together two passionate epicureans and long-time friends: Valaisan Patrice Walpen and Gruyère native William Wyssmüller.

Patrice, the winemaker, is excited to present his wines to accompany the savory recipes of William, the master cheesemaker.
